Syeda Maria Sayeed, MD, RhMSUS, is a Board-Certified physician. She received her medical degree from Dow Medical University in Karachi and Internal Medicine training from Brown University / Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. Dr. Sayeed completed her fellowship training in Rheumatology at University of Vermont.

Dr. Sayeed has a decade-long, diverse experience in medicine and has several peer-reviewed research publications and book chapters. 

She is also a Clinical Asst. Professor of Medicine at Brown University and enjoys mentoring medical students and internal medicine residents.

As a rheumatologist, she specializes in the diagnosis and therapy of all rheumatic diseases, which include problems involving joints, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis, and heritable connective tissue diseases.

She is currently accepting new patients and accepts most major insurances.
